The goal was to create a simple solution that fits in the sales ecosystem. Honeypitch was not designed to be used as a pipeline-based solution. This application is for making sales and generating response via the application or other means. When you have a "hot" lead, referral, or existing client then they go into Honeypitch so you can produce a personalized pitch that which they can interact with and approve.
Our contact management system is based on conventional address books and email contact management systems instead of opportunities or companies. We did this because of research by other companies who said that top sales people have their contacts in their email and in their head. Honeypitch allows easy import and export of contacts, lus the ability to sync with popular Personal Information Management (PIM) systems.
Each CRM product is defined differently and we feel Honeypitch has an even more unique approach. By focusing on the actual sale of your product or service, this application becomes a valuable asset to your business. Honeypitch does not try to be everything, it is about conversion of the sale by assisting in creating a forum for clear communication.
Approval of the proposal and contract is designed two-fold: click or sign. With existing relationships a simple online approval will be enough to move the project forward. If a more legally-binding approval is required then a PDF of the document can be generated for "wet-signatures." We have looked into digital signature technology but there are too many barriers and frustration to allow for a seamless approval at this time.
